A new Purchase requirements management (PUM) application will soon be introduced in the Procurement module.
Purchase requirements management (PUM) will provide an overview of purchase requirements based on both firm orders and reorder points. The application can be used to create Purchase orders (SPO) or Purchase quote requests (SRQ).
Purchase requirements management (PUM) will replace the existing Purchase (PUR) and Supplier quote management (SQM) applications. Purchase (PUR) and Supplier quote management (SQM) will continue to work in parallel with PUM until 31 January 2027. We recommend that users start familiarizing themselves with the Purchase requirements management (PUM) application as soon as it becomes available, before PUR and SQM are discontinued.

To help users prepare for the transition to the new Purchase requirements management (PUM) application, we will be hosting a webinar on 16 November 2026 at 12:00 (Norwegian time, CET).
The webinar will introduce the new application and provide an overview of its functionality, helping users become familiar with Purchase requirements management (PUM) before the existing Purchase (PUR) and Supplier quote management (SQM) applications are discontinued.
We are evaluating customer interest in a dedicated training course for the new Purchase Requirements Management (PUM) application.
While the webinar will provide an overview of the key changes and benefits, the training course is planned as a more comprehensive, instructor-led session focusing on practical use and day-to-day processes. Please note that the training course will be a paid service.
