We are excited to announce two new updates for improved visibility and handling of invoice periods.
What’s new?
The new status, Status 6 (On Hold), has been added to the Rental overview (RCS) application to allow invoice periods to be temporarily paused. Previously, there was no mechanism to prevent such invoices from being included in the invoicing process. An invoice period with Status 6 (On Hold) remains visible in the Rental contract invoice periods and is clearly marked. Once the hold is removed, the invoice period will follow the normal invoicing workflow.
A new widget, Suspended invoice periods summary, is now available from the widget menu. The widget displays the total number of invoices and the sum total of those invoices.
With this update, users will have a clearer overview and better control of invoice periods, ensuring that invoices are only generated when all prerequisites have been met.
