The following updates have been added to RamBase Cloud ERP:

Production

New Company setting (CSV) for Production work order (PWO) application

Classification: USEFUL

A new Company setting (CSV) has been added to the Production work order (PWO) application. The Do not automatically update production work order with end customer order setting allows customers producing and selling standard products to several customers. This setting is OFF by default and must be turned ON for the setting to be applied.

When this setting is turned ON, end customer information and accounting dimensions are not filled out on the Production work order (PWO) and Stock assignment register (SAR) for Production work orders (PWO) based on Sales order items (COA).

Additionally, when this setting is turned ON, end customer order information and accounting information is not filled out when the entire quantity of the Sales order item (COA) is assigned to a Production work order (PWO) via Stock assignment register for sales order item (SARC).

Finance

Introducing date-based interest rates

Classification: IMPORTANT

We are introducing Date-based interest rates, improving how interest on overdue receivables is calculated when interest rates change over time.

Previously, RamBase used a single global interest rate for all calculations. This could lead to incorrect interest amounts when overdue invoices spanned periods where official rates had changed.

With this enhancement, interest rates can now be defined with validity periods. The system automatically applies the correct rate for each time segment when calculating interest, ensuring accurate results even when multiple rate changes occur within the same overdue period.

Users maintain interest rates manually per date interval, and the system validates that all periods have a valid rate before calculation. Once interest has been calculated for a period, the related rate intervals cannot be changed, ensuring consistency and auditability.

This improvement ensures more accurate interest calculations, reduces the risk of disputes, and aligns RamBase with regulatory interest rate changes over time.
