The following updates have been added to RamBase Cloud ERP:
Rental
Dynamic Allocation and Quote Priority
Classification: IMPORTANT
We have introduced a new priority-based allocation allocation model that aligns inventory commitment with demand certainty.
Previously, the allocation logic of the system treated quotes and orders equally, assigning inventory based solely on rental date periods regardless of commitment level. This resulted inventory being prematurely reserved for low-certainty demand, thereby blocking availability for confirmed business.
With this enhancement, quotes are assigned low priority to keep stock visible but not blocked. Orders are assigned standard priority and are prioritized over quote allocations. The system automatically reclaims inventory from quotes when needed, resolving conflicts during quote-to-order conversions. Confirmed orders therefore always take precedence unless a quote has been explicitly prioritized or tied to specific equipment.
This enhancement ensures that inventory remains flexible until revenue is secured, while automatically protecting confirmed business.

Production
Update to Production work order (PWO) application
Classification: USEFUL
A new operation has been added to the Actions and operations menu in the Production work order (PWO) application. The Increase number of produced units operation allows you to increase the amount and number of product units in active Production work orders (PWO) by using the leftover waste of the Production work order (PWO).
With this new operation, users can produce more product units from an already planned and confirmed Production work order (PWO) where less wastage was produced than originally planned. The wastage can therefore be used as material for the production of the additional product units. All parts in the structure must have a great enough waste percentage to be decreased in order for the whole Production work order (PWO) quantity to be increased.
