Quality control trigger validation at Goods reception (SSA)
Classification: USEFUL
Some companies prefer to determine quality control requirements when goods are received rather than when the Purchase order (SPO) is created. To support this process, a new Company setting (CSV) allows quality control notifications to be re-evaluated against the current Quality control trigger (QCT) configuration when a Goods reception item (SSAITEM) is created.
When the Company setting (CSV), Always validate quality control notification towards quality control triggers when goods are received, is enabled, the system applies the following logic when a Goods reception item (SSAITEM) is created:
Existing quality control notifications inherited from the related Purchase order (SPO) or Purchase order response (SOA) are validated against the current Quality control trigger (QCT) configuration, and notifications that no longer match are automatically removed.
If the goods receipt matches other Quality control triggers (QCT), new quality control notifications are created accordingly.
This ensures that quality control requirements are based on the most up-to-date trigger configuration at the time of goods receipt.
Please note that manually created quality control notifications may also be removed if they do not match the current Quality control trigger (QCT) configuration.

Update to Service orders (CSO)
Classification: USEFUL
Service orders (CSO) are now included in customer booking value calculations. Previously, service orders (CSO) were excluded from customer booking value calculations despite their inclusion in standard backlog and billing reports. This update provides a complete and more consistent view of customer bookings across both product and service sales.
