Introducing flexible milestone invoicing and VAT handling

We are excited to announce an update to RamBase’s invoicing structure that now allows milestone invoices to be issued after delivery of goods, with correct VAT handling for this stage. This enhancement provides greater flexibility and better alignment with diverse customer invoicing practices.
What's new?
Final invoice after delivery:
It is now possible to issue a final invoice after delivery without creating a new order line.
VAT for the final invoice is calculated independently of goods delivery.
To support correct settlement and VAT posting for the Customer invoice plan (CIP), the system now uses a separate General ledger default account assignment (ACD), Total amount from Advance Invoice Plan after shipment for Customer invoice plan (CIP) invoices that should not be included in the settlement upon delivery.
Visual and reporting improvements:
Invoicing plans now clearly indicate which invoices are tied to delivery.
Users can filter and report invoices by stage: before, at, or after delivery.
Full audit trails track in invoicing plans and VAT handling.
This update streamlines milestone invoicing, provides flexibility for customers billing needs, and ensures accurate VAT settlement across all invoicing stages.
