The following updates have been added to RamBase Cloud ERP:
Rental
Allocation flexibility for Rental units (RUT)
Classification: USEFUL
RamBase equipment Rental management (rental/management) has been enhanced to provide greater flexibility in how Rental units (RUT) are allocated. Users can now switch between soft allocation (product-level selection) and hard allocation (specific unit selection) for multiple Rental units (RUT), even after a Rental contract (RCS) has been created, up until the mobilization process.
This improvement allows more efficient planning, prevents allocation conflicts, and reduces rework, resulting in smoother operations and more reliable mobilization.
What’s new:
Change allocation level for single or multiple rental contract items via Update selected rental contract items.
Inspect and update allocation directly from the planner.
Hard-allocated units are prioritized during automatic allocation and must be picked as assigned in RENTALPICK.
Mixed allocation within a contract item is supported (e.g., some units hard, some soft).
Creating a contract item with quantity 1 still allows selecting a specific unit as before.
