RamBase Cloud ERP release info - week 46

The following updates have been added to RamBase Cloud ERP:

Production

Automatic selection of Good reception item (SSAITEM) in the Life cycle management (LCM) application

Classification: USEFUL

When a serial number is registered on a product picked from multiple Good reception (SSA) batches, the system now automatically links it to the correct Good reception item (SSAITEM). If a serial number cannot be matched to any existing Good reception item (SSAITEM), an error message will be shown. This new functionality and validation removes the need for manual Good reception item (SSAITEM) selection and ensures more accurate and efficient traceability.

In order for this functionality to be applied, the required Company setting (CSV) Deactivate validation of serial numbers in LCM part list must be turned OFF.

Update existing product units (LCM) in the LCMUPLOAD (INP/57952)

Classification: USEFUL

With this update, it is now possible to update existing product units (LCM) in the LCMUPLOAD import job. In order to update an existing product unit (LCM), it must be matched by either:

  • LCMNO, or
  • A combination of the product name (PART) and serial number (SERIALNO).

Only product units (LCM) in Status 8 - Production completed or Status 9 - Processed can be updated.

This update reduces the time it take to update product units (LCM) manually in the Life cycle management (LCM) application and ensures a more proficient update process.

Product

Unit turnover graphic in the Product (ART) application

Classification: USEFUL

A new graphical component has been implemented in the Stock section of the Overview tab within the Product (ART) application. It displays product unit turnover across three time dimensions: monthly, quarterly, and yearly.

Definition

Unit turnover is a ratio that measures the frequency with which stock is consumed within a defined period. It provides an indicator of stock utilization efficiency over time.

  • The ratio is based on quantities rather than monetary values
  • Each displayed ratio represents the previous period (e.g., in December, the monthly ratio corresponds to November data)

This enhancement provides users with improved visibility into stock movement and consumption patterns, enabling more accurate evaluation of inventory efficiency over time.
