RamBase Cloud ERP release info - week 22

The following updates have been added to RamBase Cloud ERP:

Sales

Invoice address can now be updated in the Sales order (COA) application

Classification: USEFUL

It is now possible to select a different invoice address for a Sales order (COA) if the customer has multiple invoice addresses available. The invoice address can only be changed while the Sales order (COA) is in Status 1 - Pending registration.

To update the invoice address:

  • Navigate to the Sales order area.
  • Under Customer, click the icon next to the Invoice address.
  • A list of applicable invoice addresses will appear. Select the desired address to update the Sales order (COA).

This enhancement improves flexibility for customers with multiple billing locations and ensures the correct address is used before final registration.

Rental

Add customer discount with the new Rental tab added in the Customer (CUS) application

Classification:  USEFUL

The Customer (CUS) application is designed to create new customers efficiently, as well as viewing details on existing customers and the option of editing these details. The Rental contract (RCT) application is the main application for specifying a rental or subscription contract.

What’s new?

We are now adding the Rental tab to the Customer (CUS) application. In the new tab, rental specific discount can now be set on individual Customers (CUS). If a discount is added to a customer, the discount will be added as a default for every Rental contract item (RCTITEM) created for that customer.

Where to find it

Open the Customers (CUS) application from the RamBase menu by going to CRM → Customer Management → Customers.

In the Customers (CUS) application, select a customer and click on the Settings tab, followed by the Rental sub-tab. Finally provide a value in the Discount percentage field.

Good to know

  • If a Discount percentage is added, it will apply to Rental contract items (RCT) of type Subscription as well.

  • The new tab and field does not apply to legacy rental functionality, only the rental and subscription module launched in 2025.

General

Hide error messages

Classification:  USEFUL

Error messages in RamBase are valuable for troubleshooting and assisting support. However, in some cases — especially for users with limited Permissions (PRM) — these messages can become repetitive and disruptive, cluttering the user interface.

What’s new?

You can now choose to hide error messages related to missing Permissions (PRM) to reduce distractions and create a cleaner interface.

Where to find it?

  1. Click your Profile icon in the top-right corner.

  2. Toggle on Hide permission errors.

Good to know:

  • This setting only affects error messages related to missing Permissions (PRM) — warnings and other messages will still appear.

  • It is browser-specific: changes made in one browser won’t apply to others or other users.
