New archive and application for Warehouse operators group (WAG) introduced
Classification: USEFUL
We are excited to announce the launch of a new archive and application for Warehouse operators group (WAG). This new functionality enables the grouping of warehouse operators into specific teams, assigning different responsibilities for various product categories.
At the location level for each Product (ART), a designated warehouse operators group can be assigned. In practice, this means that the assigned warehouse operators group will be responsible for warehouse handling, particularly during the put-away process when goods are received.
Additionally, in the Goods reception item (SSAITEM) list, employees will have the ability to apply filters to view only items related to warehouse groups they belong to. The assigned warehouse operators group will also be visible in the Receive goods (RPP) application, further enhancing operational efficiency.
This enhancement is designed to improve warehouse organization, streamline responsibilities, and optimize handling processes across warehouse operations.
Production
Customer owned material can now be candidates when assigning material to backlog or stock, and when picking from restricted stock locations
Classification: USEFUL
Having customer owned material on hand can forego lead time complications, potentially cutting costs for both you and the customer due to lower overhead on both sides.
We are now updating the existing Re-assign material to stock and backlog and Pick from restricted stock locations functionality to incorporate customer-owned stock.
In RamBase, customer owned material is defined when creating the Purchase orders (SPO), and will follow the potential Purchase order responses (SOA) and Goods receptions (SSA).
The enhanced solution includes validation logic to ensure that customer-owned stock can only be selected when the customer identified on the stock item matches the customer specified on the Production Work Order (PWO).
Additionally, we are providing a configurable RamBase Company setting (CSV) to enable or disable this capability.
Updated Company settings (CSV):
Main setting - Allow to pick from another goods reception (SSA) where pick is initialized
When the settings listed above are turned ‘ON', customer owned material will be taken into consideration in the following applications:
Production work order (PWOD) application:
When using the context menu option, Assign material to stock.
When using the context menu option, Assign (relink) material to backlog and stock.
Previously these options would not include customer owned material when assigning or reassigning material.
Work order operation (WOO) application:
If a Production resource (RESCONFIG) is set up for efficient handling with restricted stock locations, customer owned material can now be picked with the context menu option, Reassign and pick all on restricted stock locations.

Synchronize Planned operations (PWOPLO) from the Production work order (PWO) application
Classification: USEFUL
Maintaining a clear production plan requires adjusting to the available resources. We are therefore expanding on the available context menu options to update Production work orders (PWO) with fresh data from Planned operations (PWOPLO).
This is can be especially useful after modifying a Production resource's (RESCONFIG) capacity, by for example changing the Working time template (WTT).
To start a manual recalculation of Planned operations (PWOPLO) from the Production work order (PWO) application, select the context menu option, Synchronize planned operations.
The changes are reflected in the Planned operations (PWOPLO) application in the Planned start at and Planned finished at fields, in addition to the Work time column in the Planned by day area.
