RamBase Cloud ERP release info - week 8

The following updates have been added to RamBase Cloud ERP:

Logistics

New Features in the Stock move (STM) application
Classification: USEFUL

We are excited to announce two new features to enhance your experience with the Stock move (STM) application:

  • Quick search functionality
Quickly locate products, goods reception ID and more with our new Quick search feature. This enhancement allows users to save time and find the information they need effortlessly.
  • Goods reception ID sorting
Users can now sort by the Goods reception ID column, making it simple to view older goods first. This streamlined sorting option provides better visibility and control over your data.

These improvements aim to simplify your workflow and improve productivity.

Production

Improved serial number validation
Classification: USEFUL

Previously, users could enter any serial number into the SerialNo field in the Life cycle management (LCM) Part list grid and in the Change LCM Part popup by manually inputting or scanning a number. If the serial number existed in the Goods reception (SSA) serial number table and was available, it was marked as used. If already used, it was rejected. However, if the serial number was not found in the table, it was still accepted, regardless of whether the Goods reception (SSA) contained serial numbers, or not.

New validation logic:

  • If the Goods reception (SSA) has serial numbers, only those in its serial number table are accepted.
  • If no match is found, the system rejects the entry with an error message Serial number mismatch.
  • If the Goods reception (SSA) has no serial numbers, any entry is allowed.

This update prevents incorrect serial number assignments and ensures proper tracking within the correct Goods reception (SSA).

Simplify your production planning with the new Production work orders list (PWOLIST) application

Classification:  USEFUL

The Production work orders list (PWOLIST) application compiles core functionality and information for all Production work orders (PWO) in the system, with the addition of extensive filtering options.

The compilation of functionality allows the user to create work orders, inspect and change planned operations, log and adjust hours and even handle assigned materials.

All this can be done, while remaining in the same application, saving time and providing production planners a powerful tool to maximize resource utilization: reduce downtime and optimize the use of machines, materials and manpower.

The Production work orders list (PWOLIST) application serves as an alternative to using all the listed applications separately:

  • Production work orders (PWOMENU)

  • Planned operations for production work order (PWOPLO)

  • Production work order (PWOD)

  • Production work order assignments (PWOSARLINKS)

  • Production work order work log (PWOWL)

New default column displaying duration of elements in Working time templates (WTT) application

Classification:  USEFUL

The Working time templates (WTT) application is designed to view, create, update, remove or deactivate existing templates. The application saves time and grants overview by allowing the set up of calendars that can be reused on multiple Production resources (RESCONFIG).

We are now adding the Duration column to the Working times tab. The new column displays the time difference between the Start time and the End time of a working time element, providing users and managers with additional information.

Rental

Release of the new Subscription sub-module

Classification:  USEFUL

Whether you're launching your first subscription or looking to optimize your existing model—our solution is designed to easily help you create and manage a smooth subscription experience with your customers.

The RamBase Subscription is a sub-module under Rental. It is tailored towards the B2B market for subscription of non-physical products such as services or licenses. The sub-module is a fully integrated subscription management and billing system that supports recurring revenue models.

Users may be familiar with the current subscription features within the system. However, this launch introduces an entirely new solution developed from the ground up, in close partnership with customers.

The new solution is based on the Rental overview (RCS) application as the starting point for all rental and subscription handling in RamBase. The application introduces efficient breadcrumb navigation with focus on overview and natural work flow. Allowing the user to view all Rental contracts (RCT), which envelopes subscription, while at the same time being able to drill down to the lowest levels of a Rental contract item (RCTITEM).

The work flow is further reinforced by the fact that the contract, independently of status, will keep its identifier.

Basis for revenue is defined in the Recurring rates (RRT) application which is used to define rates for Products (ART) with the additional option of creating highly tailored rate steps.

Key capabilities include:

  • Dynamic contract management: Real-time customization of plans, add-ons, and discounts, enabling quick adjustments to rates based on client negotiations, or promotions.

  • Centralized subscription handling: Unified user-centric subscription handling enables you to create, manage and scale offerings in one place.

  • Flexible billing options: Incentivize your customers to join with special offers, discounts, custom pricing, and custom billing cycles.

  • Revenue assurance: Ensure that your invoices are accurately billed based on the contractual agreements you have with your customers.

Please note that this functionality is planned to replace our current subscription functionality.

HR

Improved and more flexible handling of adjustments in Work hour log (WHL) and Work log approvals (WLA)

Classification: USEFUL

We have improved functionality for adjusted WHL periods in WHL/WLA, and HR managers are now able to edit or delete approved adjusted periods. Edit or delete can be done on manually added adjustments and adjustments made by the system.

  • If the need is to change the date on an adjustment, delete the adjustment and create a new one for the right date.
  • If the need is to change value/quantity, note or timetype, edit the adjustment.

Previously, adjustment had to be adjusted again since edit and delete was not an option.
