The following updates have been added to RamBase Cloud ERP:
Sales
Improved handling of Customer (CUS) shipping and invoice addresses
Classification: USEFUL
We are now refining the handling of customers' shipping and invoice addresses with the following functionality:
For Shipping and Invoice addresses:
A new standard filter has been added to filter on addresses in Status 4 - Active.
Addresses can now be activated and deactivated by clicking the Radio button in the Active on/off column. Activated addresses will be in Status 4 - Active and deactivated will be in Status 9 - Deactivated. Also note that there is a validation limiting the customer in deactivating addresses that are currently in use.
Only for Shipping addresses:
Shipping addresses in Status 9 - Deactivated can now be discarded by clicking the Thrash icon.
The improvements can be found from the RamBase menu by selecting Sales, followed by Customer management and finally Customers to open the Customers (CUS) application. In the application, click the Addresses tab and then choose to either view Shipping or Invoice addresses.

Production
Context menu option for scrapping is removed and refined in the Production work order (PWOD) application
Classification: USEFUL
When manufacturing Product units (LCM) with complex structures, the operator and planner need to be able to handle parts that are broken and assess if they can be recovered. Our Scrap and/or Release functionality is used to handle those situations.
We are now removing the context menu option, Start scrapping, which allowed splitting limited quantity from the main Production work order (PWO) and setting the new sub Production work order (PWO) in Status 6 - In scrapping process.
This was made obsoletewith last year's release of the Scrap multiple product units context menu option. The new functionality includes the Scrap and release manually button, which splits the selected Product units (LCM) to a new Production work order (PWO) allowing individual handling of those Product units (LCM), with increased overview and fewer clicks.

Automated serial number generation for Production work orders (PWO) and Product units (LCM) splitting Classification: USEFUL
We are excited to announce an enhancement to our system for splitting Production work orders (PWO) and Product units (LCM). Going forward, when splitting a batch or Production work order (PWO), the system will now use a Serial number template (SNT) to generate a new serial number for the destination Product units (LCM), if a valid Serial number template (SNT) exists for the product.
Previously, the system simply copied the serial number from the source Production work orders (PWO) to the destination Production work orders (PWO) when splitting. With this update:
If a valid Serial number template (SNT) exists, the destination Product units (LCM) will receive a new serial number based on the template.
If no Serial number template (SNT) is found, the destination Product units (LCM) will inherit the serial number from the source Production work orders (PWO) or Product units (LCM).
This update applies to both manual and automatic splitting via the continuous forward to stock function.
Enhancements to the information display in the SARK overview Classification: USEFUL
The Quality field from Goods reception items (SSAITEM) is now visible in the SARK overview, displayed similarly to how the Lot and Heatno fields appear. If no information is available, the field will remain hidden.
