Production
Planned manhours can now be added to operations in Product structures (KITART) and Production structures (KITDOC)
Classification: USEFUL
The new functionality provides the option of adding variable planned manhours to Operations (OPR) included in Product structures (KITART), that have Production resources (RESCONFIG) set up to log manhours.
The planned man hours are specified per unit produced, this means that if an Operation (OPR) has a planned manhour of one (1), setup in the Structure operation item (KITARTOPRITM), then the value will be 1*Net quantity of the Production work order (PWO) in the Structure operation item (KITDOCOPRITM).
The solution also allows for the planned manhours to be edited in released Production work orders (PWO), by creating a new version of the Production structure (KITDOC) and editing it while, in Status 1 - Draft.

Separate accumulated depreciation account for fixed asset reporting Classification: USEFUL
To provide a more flexible setup that meets different reporting needs, RamBase now supports gross reporting for fixed assets. This feature enables transparent reporting of acquisition cost and accumulated depreciation as separate entries on the balance sheet.
This enhancement introduces an additional field in the fixed asset configuration in the Depreciation rules (DPR) application for the Accumulated Depreciation Account, ensuring a clear separation of acquisition value and accumulated depreciation in financial reports.
By implementing this setup, RamBase aligns with both local and international accounting standards, reducing compliance risks, and providing clearer and more transparent reporting for auditors and stakeholders.
This functionality will only be available for new Depreciation rules (DPR). For existing setups, no changes are necessary, as depreciation will continue to be recorded on the main balance account as before.

Link purchase prices to specific Manufacturer part numbers (MPN)
Classification: USEFUL
Identifying the right product involves understanding the organization's requirements, evaluating various options, and selecting the product that best meets those needs.
In procurement, the manufacturer part number can be a critical identifier in ensuring that you and your customers needs are met. This is especially true if you are procuring from a supplier offering a product, which is sourced from multiple manufacturers.
We are now adding the option of linking a purchase price to a specific manufacturer part number.
To set this up, the user can select which Manufacturer part number (MPN) applies when creating a new purchase price in the Product (ART) application.
The user can then decide which product is ordered, in the Purchase order item (SPOITEM) application, by specifying the Manufacturer part number (MPN).
If a purchase price is linked, the user will be prompted to update the price to the purchase price linked to the newly selected Manufacturer part number (MPN).
