RamBase Cloud ERP release info - week 33

The following updates have been added to RamBase Cloud ERP:

Sales

Feature to split Sales orders items (COAITEM) with structured products into individual Items
Classificiation: USEFUL

Sales order item (COAITEM) for products of type Kit structure (KS) cannot be registered until the structure has been split into individual items for each part within the structure. Previously, this functionality was only available through the Context menu within a Sales order item (COAITEM).

This feature has now been enhanced. If a Sales order (COA) contains multiple items of this type, all these items can now be split more efficiently using the new Context menu option, Split Product Structure for All Items of Type KS, instead of processing them one by one.

Logistics

New Input job (INP/80788) to avoid duplicates while efficiently creating Stock takings (STT)

Classification: USEFUL

Efficient annual Stock taking (STT) of the whole warehouse often depends on several people which can require the manual creation of multiple stock taking processes. These time-consuming processes carry the risk of human error in the form of possible duplicates.

To mitigate this risk we have created the STTUPLOAD (INP/80788) which allows the upload of a CSV-file to efficiently create Stock takings (STT).

If Stock taking (STT) is created based on the Stock location (STL), the new Input job (INP) will check if there are any overlapping Stock takings (STT) in statuses less than Status 9 - Completed. If overlapping Stock takings (STT) are found, the import job will fail and the risk of creating duplicates is eliminated.

The STTUPLOAD (INP/80788) can create Stock takings (STT) for the following types:

  • Stock Location

  • Goods Reception

  • Product

Production

Maintain overview and improve efficiency when scrapping Product units (LCM)

Classification: USEFUL

When manufacturing Product units (LCM) with complex structures, the operator and planner need to handle broken parts and assess if they can be recovered. Our scrap and release functionality is used to handle these situations.

We have now extended the functionality to allow the operator to efficiently handle multiple Product units (LCM) by selecting individual units or selecting all. This applies to both unit and batch productions.

In the same popup, we have also included the option to split units in batch productions and select the location for potential scrapped or released units.

To take advantage of the improvements, go to the Production work order (PWO) application and select the Scrap multiple product units from the Context menu.
