Higher precision when automatically updating confirmed delivery date
Classification: USEFUL
It can be a challenge balancing the complex factors contributing to final delivery dates, but reconfirming them can already be automated by enabling our existing Company setting (CSV), ReConfirm Sales Order (COA).
We have now increased the precision by allowing you to select which Locations (LOC) the setting should apply for, and which it should not. Enabling the setting for a Location (LOC) is easily done by adding the three-letter abbreviation of a Location (LOC) in the Value field of the setting. A comma can also be used as a separator to include several locations, for example “VAT,HAU,TYS,BER”.
The setting is found from the RamBase menu by selecting Admin followed by Overview, and then select Settings. Finally click Company settings and search for “ReConfirm Sales Order (COA)”.
Please note that for users who already have this setting enabled, your locations will already be added to the Value field.
Enhancements to the Planned operations for production work order (PWOPLO) application
Classification: USEFUL
Multiple changes have been introduced to improve the handling of external operations in the Planned operations for production work order (PWOPLO) application:
Quickly check Requirements and attachments sent to the supplier from the link in the new column, Outsourced purchase order item. Clicking the View icon next to the Purchase order item (SPOITEM) identifier will open the Purchase order item (SPOITEM) application, where all the Requirements and attachments sent to the Supplier (SUP) are available.
Prevent unintended rescheduling of planned dates, by manually locking planned operations with the new Operation locked checkbox.
Material lead time for external operations is now displayed in the Lead time field. This inclusion allows for a more precise calculation of an external operation's planned end date, which is the Planned start + Run time + Lead time.
Quality issues (QIS) and Risk assessments (RAS) can now be tagged with URLs
Classification: USEFUL
With the new addition of URL tags, we are expanding the user’s options in providing additional information on Quality issues (QIS) and Risk assessments (RAS).
This can be especially useful for companies utilizing multiple communication and information platforms, as this allows the elaboration of context and references, ensuring that the available information is sufficiently documented.
To add a URL tag, navigate to the Tags & References tab for both the Quality issues details (QISD) and Risk assessment (RAS) applications, and click the Add URL icon.
