Save time by disabling markup as default for a Project order (POD)
Classification: USEFUL
When creating a Project order (POD), the user can by checking the Disable markup as default checkbox decide if calculation of markup should be disabled for succeeding Project order items (PODITEM).
A new setting controls if Disable markup as default checkbox should be suggested checked or not when a new Project order (POD) is created. This can be changed later in the Project order (POD) application.
All Project order items (PODITEM) which are automatically created, will inherit this selection. When creating Project order item (PODITEM) manually, it will be suggested to disable markup, if this is checked as default at Project order (POD). This can also be changed later in the Project order item (PODITEM) application.
This allows for higher efficiency by removing the need to manually adjust sales prices, or to individually disable markup for every Project order item (PODITEM).
Users who wish to continue calculating markup can disregard both the new setting and the unchecked Disable markup as default checkboxes.
The new Default create value for sales project order - Has markup disabled by default setting is found in the Company settings (CSV) application.
