Control mass update of Product structures (KITART) while keeping customers informed Classification: USEFUL
The Kit menu (KIT) application is an efficient tool to quickly mass update Product structures (KITART). While this is efficient, maintaining control is key.
RamBase has added the option of setting the following levels of restriction on Product structures: • No restriction - Selected Product structures (KITART) with this level will be updated. This is the default setting and does not need to be actively set. • Update and notify - Selected Product structures (KITART) will be updated. A task will be generated for the user with a reminder to inform the customer about the update. The user will have to do so externally (mail, phone etc.). • Prevent and notify - Selected Product structures (KITART) will not be updated. A task will be generated with information about the missing update. The user will also be reminded to consult the customer before updating the Product structure (KITART). The user will have to do so externally (mail, phone etc.).
The workflow entail: 1. Set levels of restriction in the Product structures (KITART) application. 2. Restricts mass updates in the Kit menu (KIT) application. 3. Check notification reminders in the Task (TASK) application.
Note that the Company setting (CSV), Use update restrictions for product structures, must be enabled to restrict mass updates on product structures.
New operation on the Supplier invoice (SIN) document, Update price on all goods reception items
Classification: USEFUL
A new operation Update price on all goods reception items is available in the Supplier invoice (SIN) application. This operation was only available on item level earlier. Now it is possible to run the same operation on all items directly.
