New changes in the Product (ART) application
Classification: USEFUL
The product details component on Product (ART) has undergone some minor adjustments to enhance its structure and user-friendliness. Additionally, a new field for drawing revision has been introduced.
The Stock quantity and Available quantity have been merged into a single field called Available quantity.
The Expected cost price has been relocated to the upper section.
The inclusion of drawing revision allows for better management of the active drawing revisions.
Previously, when the Set message function was employed, it caused the entire component to shift and resulted in a cluttered display of details within the component. Now, when the Set message function is used, this information is moved and positioned above the product name.

Coming: Rental function to be removed from the Scanpick (SCANPICK) application
Classification: IMPORTANT

Previously, RamBase provided currency exchange rates from five sources, which included:
-The National Bank of Poland
-The European Central Bank
-Norges Bank
-Sveriges Riksbank
-Bloomberg
We are excited to introduce a new and improved rate source to enhance the experience with RamBase. Meet Xignite, the latest addition, which offers support for more than 170 currencies and over 29,000 currency pairs.
Starting January 1, 2024, we will phase out Bloomberg as a rate source in RamBase. All companies currently relying on Bloomberg, whether as their primary or secondary source, will be seamlessly transitioned to Xignite.
To view the system's daily exchange rates, access the Currency menu (CUR) application. From the dropdown menu in the upper right corner, select the desired rate source for investigation and click on a date to open a popup. In that popup, users will also get an overview of the exchange rates the company has as Active Currencies or toggle to All currencies to see what exchange rates are registered in RamBase today. If there is a need to register or activate a new currency, please submit a ticket, and the support team will assist promptly.
It will soon be possible to load Quality issues (QIS). This will simplify the work of transferring quality issues from the Quality report archive (QAR) application (or another system) to the Quality issue (QIS) application.
Approvals (APPROVAL) application has been updated with extensive filtering options and much more Classification: IMPORTANT
A new version of the Approvals (APPROVAL) application has been released. It gives a good overview of items in need of approval, or that have been sent for approval, all in one place. In other words, Purchase orders, Supplier invoices and so on, all at a glance.
There are extensive filtering options to ensure that it is easy to find relevant items for approval. Attachments may be previewed without further clicking and lists may be exported to Excel. The application also makes it easy to process items, as it has options to approve/reject one at a time, or in bulk.
A daily e-mail will be sent to each user with a summary of approvals pending the user's review. When an approval is marked as "urgent", an e-mail will be sent to the user immediately. This will replace the use of Internal message service (IMS) notifications.
