is it not possible to Backdate an SSA too because if it is month end and we don't get everything booked into stores on the last day of the month we want to be able to do it the next day but backdate it to the previous day to ensure our stock and invoices etc all match. obviously it is possible to backdate the invoice but this causes confusion at month end PAR if the invoice is dated 30th of the previous month and the SSA is dated 1st of the current month.
SSA can never be backdated. If SIN is posted in a period previous to SSA, the SIN item will have a PAT document.
