Hi, This is a very good enhancement. However, it does not work optimal. We have a lot of customer with invoice country in another country than the country of VAT register number. These are not validated OK against the VIES database even though the VAT number is a valid one. Country of VAT register should possibly be added as an additional field for validation?
We are currently adding the country code in front of the VAT number as this is also what is showing as the customer VAT number on the PDF copies of COA/CSA/CIN. When adding country code, VAT numbers are not validated OK against the VIES either.

RamBase plans to release an enhancement to the Customer (CUS) and Supplier (SUP) applications, which validates single VAT numbers of any business entity registered in the EU.
When you enter a VAT number in the CUS or SUP applications to create a new customer or supplier, the VAT number is validated against the VIES database, and if a match is found, a notification is displayed.
