Classification: USEFUL
To increase the security when signing in to RamBase, we will now support Time-based One-time password (TOTP) instead of SMS-based One-time password (OTP).
Third-party authenticator apps such as Microsoft or Google Authenticator for smartphones can be used to generate login codes for login from untrusted networks.
Third-party authenticator apps on smart devices are safe and easy to use. Authenticator apps will completely replace SMS delivery, and email delivery will be supported as a secondary delivery method in case the app is unavailable.
When you sign in from an untrusted network using SMS-based OTP, you will have the opportunity to configure TOTP.
