Logistics: It is possible to set the phone, email and attention in shipping address mandatory when using an external transport management system

Classification:  USEFUL

What has been changed:

For companies that are interfacing an external transport management system, the Company setting (CSV) Make shipping phone, email and attention mandatory for all external shipments will be available. If this setting is turned on, will by attempt to add a Shipping advice (CSA), Supplier Return (SRT) or Goods transfer (STW) to the picking queue, be checked if the shipping address contains Attention, Email and Phone. The same check will be performed by attempt to ship the document.

These three fields are now available in the CSA, SRT and STW applications. By default, they are copied from the customer, supplier and locations, respectively, but it can be overwritten.

The State field is now part of the shipping address in these three documents.

Why has this been implemented:

Some external transport management systems require this information to handle the shipment.

How will this affect you as a user:

This will only affect you if your company uses an external transport management system and if the setting is turned on. RamBase will then require that the shipping address contains Attention, Email and Phone in the shipping documents.
