The following updates have been added to RamBase Cloud ERP:
Finance
Improved application of product VAT settings for Received supplier invoice/credit note (ISI) invoices
Classification: USEFUL
Improvements have been made to ensure that VAT settings configured on a Product (ART) are automatically applied to Supplier invoices (SIN) received through the Received supplier invoice/credit note (ISI) integration.
Previously, VAT information interpreted by Received supplier invoice/credit note (ISI) was transferred directly to the Supplier invoice (SIN), even when different VAT settings were configured on the assigned Product (ART). This required users to manually adjust the VAT code before posting.
With this improvement, when a Product (ART) is assigned to an invoice line through Received supplier invoice/credit note (ISI), the system automatically retrieves and applies the corresponding posting and VAT settings from the product. If a VAT override is configured in Product (ART), it takes precedence over the VAT information received from Received supplier invoice/credit note (ISI).
This ensures consistent VAT handling regardless of whether an invoice is created manually or received through Received supplier invoice/credit note (ISI), reducing the need for manual adjustments and the risk of incorrect VAT deductions.
Note: If no VAT override is configured on the Product (ART), the VAT information interpreted by Received supplier invoice/credit note (ISI) will continue to be used as before.
