Reports in RamBase that are ordered to be sent as a file to an email using the option: Report by e-mail/print/ftp operate with different priorities = runprio.

A report that is set to priority one, indicates it is not a particularly heavy report, and can be run immediately.

Some reports require more of the system resources, and are therefore set to start after working hours.

Then there is a separate priority on the job itself.

If there are a lot of jobs in the queue, the jobs with priority 1 will be prioritized over those with priority 4. (The user will not usually notice this.)

RunPrio 1: active 24 hours

Jobs with Prio 1 will start between 00:00 to 23:59.

RunPrio 2: active from 14:00 to 10:59 (inactive 11:00 - 14:00) J

Jobs with Prio 2 will start between 00:00 to 10:59 and 14:00 to 23:59.

RunPrio 3: active from 16:00 til 07:59 (inactive 08:00-16:00)

Jobs with Prio 3 will start between 00:00 to 07:59 and 16:00 to 23:59.

RunPrio 4: active from 20:00 til 05:59 (inactive 06:00-20:00)

Jobs with Prio 4 will start between 00:00 to 05:59 and 20:00 to 23:59.

The Default value for reports are Prio:3.

There is a limit to how many reports that can be run simultaneously. If a report is started several times or heavy reports are triggered, the user can experience a delay in some cases before he receives his report with runprio 1.

A user can change the priority on his own reports in the report definition area (RPD/xxxxx).
